I studied at Edinburgh University with some fantastic musicians, including Nigel Osbourne and John Kitchen.

This time was very productive as you'll find out in the education section.

Since then, I have taught piano and singing as well as helped out in primary school with maths and English. I compose and have accompanied many choirs including some in Newcastle, Gloucester and other places. I enjoy accompanying soloist, too. I play the tuba in a wind band, having played in a silver band previously.

My time is also taken up with church: I sing in the choir and lead a men's group as well as playing for occasions. I am a Catholic.

I also enjoy astronomy and am embarking on a course run by the Open University. Wish me luck!
